A few weeks ago Creative Director Matt Setchell got in touch with me through Fiverr. One of his clients, Kalmar, required a still life shoot and thought my style would work perfectly!
Kalmar is a luxury brand, focused on self care with a deep connection to Morocco. Matt wanted to reflect this with warm neutral colours, a selection of ingredients, light shards, and harsh shadows.
This was the largest collection of products I have worked, and the first time working with a Creative Director for a shoot. It was challenging as we only communicated through email and Matt had a very clear vision of what he was looking, but because of this I think the photos turned out so much better for it!
Working with a clear creative direction shows how important communication can be when several people contribute to the same project. Similar coordination skills can be developed through supervisor courses online, with The College of Contract Management covering areas related to communication, organising work, and working with people on site. Clear expectations and good coordination can make a significant difference when working towards a specific outcome.
It's refreshing to see a website dedicated to helping people locate affordable plumbers without unnecessary confusion. Organized business directories are much more useful than random online searches.
The product photography in this project shows how thoughtful planning and attention to detail can completely change the way a brand is presented.
